Some people hate em’ and some people love em’.
I happen to love them. Regardless of if you do or don’t there isn’t much argument as to who is one of the biggest brands in the tracksuit game … Juicy Couture.
Worn by celebrities, 15 year old daughters and their ‘cool’ moms you can safely bet that on any trip the mall or public outing you are very likely to spot a Juicy track suit. Now I agree that the ‘standard’ Juicy tracksuit with the velvety rhinestone encrusted logos are designed with the tweens and teens in mind and the matching tracksuit can look a little out of place on most adults Juicy has created a more subtile line of tracksuits which I think solve the tracksuit stigma for adult shoppers.
Enter my latest purchase …. a baby pink 100% cashmere Juicy Couture tracksuit.
Like I said – love it or hate it … but I am in love.
No rhinstones here, just relaxed quality homewear.
Baby pink is and will forever will be one of my favorite colors which first made this piece catch my eye in the first place.
Secondly it really is 100% cashmere so it’s ridiculously soft and ridiculously comfortable.
Thirdly you must admit that for a tracksuit it has an element of ‘lounge elegant’ (very different then what you would expect from the typically in your face Juicy Couture fashion).
The baby pink is complimented by cinched white stripes around the wrists and ankles as well as gold detailing on the zipper and ties on the bottoms waste.
I’m a sucker for cinched ankles and wrists on jackets and sweats as I feel it adds to the items practicality. Speaking of which, theese bottoms also have back pockets – score.
So now I finally have proper lounge attire which makes me feel like pricess in pink – mission accomplished.
