This week, Iris and Ink (the private label designed by The Out Net) held a beautiful little fall/winter launch event in the ever so glamorous One and Only and I was lucky enough to be able to stop in and take a look.
One of the private dining areas had been transformed to provide the perfect display of the new collection.
Take a look.
The collection, like the Iris & Ink brand, is modern but feminine. I was happy to see a mix of lighter shades as well – fall and winter don’t have to always mean black everything.
For anyone new to Iris & Ink it’s definitely a brand to keep on your radar. Besides being a part of The Out Net (which sells designer goods at discounted rates) Iris & Ink is itself the creation of the all members of The Out Net team.
Taking a look around my eyes automatically fell on this fuzzy piece (must have something to do with my ridiculous love of bags… em… first step is admitting you have a problem).
But come on – how great is this ?!
The bags all provided the perfect winter statement either with the ridiculously soft and fuzzy large clutch (above) or the day purse/ cross body / bucket backpack below.
Both the day purse, cross body and the bucket backpack shared a textured rib detailing which I loved.
Love this dress? You can snag it here on the Iris&Ink website.
With my bag obsession satisfied it was time to take a proper look at the clothes…
Viewing the collection it really felt like a look inside a very fashionable individuals wardrobe. Each piece was different and luckily didn’t scream out that it was clearly all designed by the same brand.
This is what I found so great about the collection, the individuality of each piece and how it allowed you to mix and match with the rest.
An extra fun fact to give you a peek into the quality you can expect – that lovely little white and navy striped pant leg and shirt sleeve poking out from the center of the image below – does the print look somewhat familiar? In fact this adorable two piece set made of the same tweed material as Chanel – yeah, we are talking quality here.
(Click on the shirt and pant images if you want to take a closer look on the Iris&Ink website)
One of my favorite items however ended up being this little V neck sweater that was placed on one of the manikins.
Besides being a perfect layering item for the fall season it was ridiculously soft to the touch.
I also tried on my first leather jacket (a new piece in the fall/winter collection) in forever and forgot how much fun they are – Shawn of course showed me how it’s done.
The quality of this jacket was unmatched.

I had a wonderful time viewing the new collection and getting very inspired for the upcoming fall/winter season (even though I will admit Dubai doesn’t create the most drastic change in seasonal weather I’m sure I’ll find a way to make it work – you have to give it a shot when the seasonal clothes are as stunning as these!)
