I’v got a great restaurant to share with (been a few times so I can happily give it my seal of approval).
Just last night Z and I set off on a little dinner date and I thought I’d take you along.
Both with an appetite for something ‘exotic’ we headed out for one of our favorites – Pai Thai.
A gem for Thai food in Dubai the restaurant is romantically set on the waters edge on the grounds of the Al Qasr Hotel.
The restaurant attracts tourists and locals alike throughout the week so make sure to reserve in advance.
Z and I arrived a bit early to our reservation (too excited to eat as always).
We waited in the restaurants lobby with some delicious cocktails to pass the time.
Taken to our seats (I suggest requesting a seat on the balcony next to the water) we settled in with some crunchy prawn chips and sweet tangy dips.
We wasted no time tucking into the menu.
A spicy soup with prawn to start followed by pad thai (of course) and a red duck curry.
I’m normally a chicken curry person myself but the duck is well worth a try if your looking for rich flavor.
With full bellies we sat back taking in the always surroundings and watching the little passenger boats float by before heading home.
So just outside of the restaurant is a small hidden pool for the surrounding villas.
How beautiful does that look! Late night swim anyone?
