Just the other night was the Reiss menswear event at the British Embassy.
You may remember my post from just a little while back on Reiss’s full fall and winter launch, but tonight it was all about the boys.
Brandon was my partner in crime that evening.
He couldn’t wait to go.
He had been looking forward to it the past few days and now that it was finally time he just couldn’t wait.
I mean, just look at his excitement!
Ok but really, we were both very keen to see what was in store. < no pun intended.
I mean an event at the British Embassy is always a sure thing for a nice evening (remember the Queen’s Birthday they hosted? It was lovely!).
We arrived and after a quick security check headed into the garden where we were greeted by red carpet, fancy cars and of course the latest in Reiss menswear.
As everything was British themed (naturally) the food was an assortment of salmons, Yorkshire puddings, and even freshly made fish and chips served in the traditional paper wraps (which I would have photographed for you but they were gobbled up before I could manage).
Now as an American I thought burgers fell under our category of ‘traditional food’.
He explained the new designs, tailoring and custom fittings that Reiss now offers throughout all of their stores.
In my opinion Reiss is a much welcomed contrast to the typical large and straight cut suit that many people associate with British mens business wear.
In fact looking around at the Reiss men scattered throughout the crowd you could really tell that Reiss is producing something of individual quality; which left me thinking (in my best British accent of course), ‘the gentlemen this evening are looking quite dapper I must say’.
Even as a lady I really was impressed with their menswear collection and truly think that Reiss is an ideal brand of quality for both men and women looking for those classic and timeless pieces that are professional enough for a workday and easily translate into evening attire.
Take a peak at their collections here, what do you think?
