This had to be my favorite of the little cakes. I mean just look at it! I would love to know how they cut it – who can cut a blueberry so perfectly without it squishing?! …. clearly it was made by dessert gods.
Seeing that we had come close to polishing off the tea time treats the attentive staff arrived with extra sandwiches and savory wraps.
Then came the ultimate staple in high tea foods, biscuits.
Fresh beautiful biscuits with an array of toppings. I went straight for the clotted cream and strawberry jam.
